We Made It!

Sorry for the lack of updates! Between the packing and the unpacking, I haven’t done anything crafty for weeks. I was too busy to miss it until today – I’ve got a strong desire to pick up some needles and yarn and start a new project.

Most importantly, though – the move is done. We are now located in Louisville, Kentucky. I couldn’t be more pleased. I loved Chicago, but could never get used to having so many people around us all of the time. Louisville is still a decent sized city, but with a lot more open space and a lot less crowding. We’ve already learned a lot about Southern hospitality in our short time here – I have to get used to it!

Expect to see more knitting and crafting and photos in the next few weeks. In the meantime, here’s a picture of the cats trying to catch a fly at the new apartment – they had it cornered by the entryway window. That fly kept them entertained for quite awhile this afternoon:
