More Progress – a Sleeve!

May 7, 2010By 4 Comments

Wow, it’s really hard to make a sleeve sound exciting. Sorry about that.

Despite the setbacks early in the week, I have managed to get some time in on the Super Natural Stripes baby sweater for my great-nephew, due in June.

Progress

The body of the sweater is complete, along with sleeve #1! Just one more sleeve and the button band/collar to go.

I’m loving this green, which I’m finding very difficult to photograph. The color name is “peapod” and that’s exactly the right name for it – a bright green with a yellow undertone. Very, very cute.

Since I don’t have much else to show about the sweater, how about another green photo I took this week:

23 - Pink

This is a houseplant that lives on a windowsill at work. I have absolutely no responsibility for keeping this alive, which is why it is thriving.

That’s all for now. Happy Friday – enjoy the weekend!

I think Jeannene adopted it. And she’s cloning it in a nearby drinking glass too.

Oh, and I LOVE that baby sweater! I think you should really consider making these patterns for big people.

The sweater is beautiful, can’t wait to see it up close and personal!
