Two Years!

I can’t believe it, but it’s been two years since Mr. Martini and I packed up our belongings and moved from Chicago to Louisville. Time has flown by!

Since we’ve moved here, Mother Nature has blessed us with a windstorm, an ice storm, a flood, and the hottest summer in recent memory. Add to that an apartment complex fire (thankfully, not our building!) and it’s been a dramatic couple of years.

While we miss Chicago sometimes (especially Loopy Yarns – sigh), we’re still very, very happy we moved here. Here’s hoping the next two years are just as great (if a little less exciting, weather-wise)!
