Two Green Sweaters

Last year, I knit a few baby sweaters for some new babies. You may remember the two green ones I knit:

One of the reason I love knitting baby sweaters is because it means I’m sent pictures of adorable babies wearing said sweaters. Pictures like these appear in my inbox, and I can’t help but smile:

This is Baby Boy J, my niece’s son, wearing the first of the two green sweaters I knit last year. I had no idea he’d have red hair – he’s looks like a littleĀ leprechaun!

And this is Baby Boy S, my co-worker’s little boy, wearing the second green sweater I knit. How much do you love the collared shirt his mom picked out to wear underneath the sweater? Too much cuteness!

Knowing that the handknits are being worn and loved is so gratifying. I love making them, and it makes me so happy to see that the recipients enjoy them as well.

Thank you for sharing the photos, Sabrina and Susan! :)
