Here’s another stitchy item I finished recently:
It’s the cast of The Big Bang Theory, as pixel people. The patter is from Wee Little Stitches on Etsy. When Mr. M was sick around the holidays, we watched the entire series on DVD. He used to tease me that it was a silly show, and I couldn’t really disagree – it is a silly show. But that’s why I like it. It’s funny. He now agrees.
I love Penny’s waitress uniform, and Sheldon’s Flash t-shirt so much. I really wish I was talented enough to add a wee little Amy Farrah-Fowler, though. She’s my favorite.
I love the Pixel People patterns from Wee Little stitches so much, I have two more in the queue. I’m waiting to finish all three before I frame them, so they’ll look like a real series and not just three random projects.
Which means that for the time being, this is where the finished Big Bang Theory stitchery will live. Randomly hanging on a fabric basket on my craft bookshelf. But at least this way, it won’t get wrinkled!
Have you ever framed cross-stitch projects? Have any suggestions for good tutorials or frame styles? I’d love to hear them!
