Fun Stuff I’ve Done Lately
Mr. Martini and I have done some fun things in the past few weeks.
1. We went to the Derby City Comic Con:
I wish I had $500 to spare, just so I could buy see just how weird those tales are.
2. We attended a baseball game – The Louisville Bat at Slugger Field (with fireworks!):
It was 95 degrees with no breeze at the end of the game. But I didn’t care, because FIREWORKS!
3. We went to the neighborhood farmer’s market:
This was a reconnaissance mission. Next week, I plan on actually buying something.
And, since the temperatures were in the 100s for the past two weeks, we also stayed indoors a lot. Despite the heat, the kitties enjoyed hanging out sun puddles:
Zelda doesn’t care that it’s over 107 degrees outside. She loves herself a sun puddle.
Ruby agrees, and also wishes for you to rub her belly.
While I worked on a shop update:
So. many. circles.
And I got some knitting done:
My Through the Loops mystery shawl is done. It just needs a bath and blocking.
What have you been up to lately?

Sounds like fun exept from the heat. Over 100, can’t believe it!!!
I met a friend and we cooked some raspberry-strawberry-jelly and had so much fun. It will be a good-mood-jelly. And I spend quite some time re-organizing some shelves at home and with knitting a ababygift.
In the last couple of weeks I’ve been enjoying some sweets a superawesome friend send me from Kentucky (Himself is a superfan of the Bourbon Brittle and had a small piece of it every evening)
