Blanket Progress – 10%

September 19, 2012By 0 Comments

The weather cooperated last night, and I was able to snap a few photos of my blanket progress. Here we are at 10% complete, or 73 squares:

10 percent

I started working outward on the rows to get a sense of how wide it will be. I haven’t measured it, but it’s going to be the perfect width for a lap blanket.

Here’s a close up of one of my favorite squares:

Favorite Square

That blue/purple/teal/pink square? Absolutely my favorite. I only had a mini-skein, but ordered a full hank so I canĀ use it more throughout the blanket. I love it.

One more shot:

Squares

I can never, ever get my corners to line up this neatly when I quilt.

There’s the progress so far! I completed a few more squares after I took these photos.

We’ll see how long the next 5% takes me!
